The design of a modern Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) is the focal point of the Exterior Building (EBM) System for this tower. A 97' telescoping boom positions a suspended work platform on any point of the buildings facade to provide access for window cleaning and building maintenance. The BMU runs along a structural steel track system that is centrally located along the building longitudinal axis. The luffing and slewing and elevating mast functions allow the BMU to be stored out of the line of sight.
Located at the apex of Wolf Point on the Chicago River in the beautiful architectural mecca of the United States, this 52-story office tower is one of the newest additions to the collection of amazing architecture in Chicago.
