This challenging project required countless hours of design and solution oriented collaboration with HOK, Buro Happold and Thornton Tomasetti. The curved north and south end walls of this unique building are accessed using powered trolleys that ride curved monorails. The roof enclosure consists of ETFE (an air filled foil bubble) that is accessed using a custom ladder and horizontal lifeline system. Industrial rope access is used to descent the sides of the ETFE.
A world-class development opportunity has emerged in Southern California. The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) combines a transportation gateway and mixed-use activity center on a 16-acre site owned by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) and the City of Anaheim.
