Project Summary:

5901 Sunset is a vertically stacked terrace building presenting a significant number of facade access surfaces and levels. A portable davit system and self-powered platform are used to access the main facades and to transfer the platform from terrace to terrace. Additionally, overhangs, underhangs, and notches in the building's geometry created the need for the design to a soffit-mounted monorail system to which the work platform is transferred, mid-air.

EPIC is a new model of Class-A, creative high-rise office space. This vertically stacked and terraced building is a one-of-a-kind, 13-story Gensler design with spectacular panoramic views to the Hollywood Hills, Pacific Ocean, and Downtown Los Angeles.
